For those who say that Corporate America treats everyone the same way, I would ask you to open your eyes and really watch what is going on. After 12 years at the executive level in a Fortune 50 Company, I can tell you that there is a definite difference in the treatment of the the two sexes.
How does it feel to make someone else rich? Do you realize that you are working probably close to 10% of your true value / worth? Don’t spend 30 years in Corporate America just to find out that you will be replaced 2 weeks prior to your retirement and forgotten within 1 to 6 months. The Corporate model is for followers. If you are a leader there are far better options.
Are the sacrifices you are making for the Corporation worth it? Only you can answer that question. Do you see the real price that your hectic life is having on your family? If you did you would get out of Corporate America this minute. Don’t work for someone else and make them rich just so you can retire when you are old. What fun is that?
We want more, more, more. This is the song of the US Government in reference to your money. If you are an employee, you are about to be raked over the coals on an increase in taxes. There is no choice on this matter. They have to raise taxes. The time to start a home based business is now. Do not wait.
Never be taken for granted again. Start your home based business and when you are earning as much as you earn with the Corporate job, then you are in control. You can even fire your boss if you wish. No that is true power. I will never forget the day I fired Corporate America. It was great.
What are you doing to prepare for higher costs on fuel, food, clothes, utilities and more that is coming down the hill like a freight train? If you do nothing, you just took a 15% pay cut. This on top of your tax base is out outrageous, yet people going to be caught in this trap soon. Most Americans can see the squeeze coming or are feeling the squeeze now, but what they do not see is the fact that with these increases Corporations will need to outsource even more to maintain profit margins which translates to layoffs. What are you doing to beef up your emergency fund? Do not wait until it is too late.
Do you get to write you own raise each your? Why not? Congratulations on your 3% raise last year, but it was really a 4 % pay cut. Inflation was running around 7%. When I was a Corporate man, I was working way to hard to have time to even think of these types of things. I was working so hard I did not have time to build wealth. Yes I made made a ton of money, but money was not working for me, it was dead money. Now it is a total different game.
Stop and figure out the true cost of your j.o.b. (just over broke). No matter how much money you make as an employee your chances living a financially secure life and helping those around you is next to 1%. If Las Vegas had those kind of odds, it would be a ghost town, yet everyday people continue to do the same actions with their heads in the sands while going towards retire in terrible financial shape. Do not let this be you. Your family deserves much better.
It is called the Law of Action. Working for a Corporation is not action, it is following. That is why you are paid peanuts. I know I used to be an Executive in a Fortune 50 Company and thought I was making great money….How wrong I was. I was too busy to see that true Wealth is open to all but you must take action.
